How long does an Amatsu therapy treatment take?
Around 45 minutes to 1 hour
What do I wear?
Amatsu is done with the client wearing loose comfortable clothing
Is Amatsu Therapy suitable for all?
If a therapy is deemed to be effective, there have to be some situations where it won’t be suitable for everybody. Amatsu therapy is not suitable for everybody, however, it is best to speak to a practitioner to find out whether it is suitable for you.
Is Amatsu Therapy a 1 hit wonder?
No, it is not. There are occasions where the recovery and change for a client is huge after 1 treatment, but this is not the norm.
Clients who have been struggling with a problem for anywhere over a month, will find that with any therapy they need to attend several times to ensure the treatment has been able to address the problem thoroughly.
Is Amatsu Therapy suitable for every condition?
No, Amatsu Therapy is a soft tissue bodywork therapy and as such, there are conditions that are not able to be treated effectively by it. However, it is also possible that symptoms can be alleviated/made acceptable for the client when living with ongoing/long term illness.
What makes Amatsu therapy different?
Taijutsu – natural body movement. All Amatsu practitioners are taught to move in this way, to ensure they can preserve their own longevity and treat their clients in a very effective way.
What does working on soft tissue mean?
It means that we work on all the layers that surround bones. The end result is that the fascial restrictions found are given the opportunity to release. This in turn, means that the bony joints underneath are able to float better.
